Matt HallHello, I’m Matt Hall, the senior pastor at Canopy Roads. Thanks for visiting the online home of our church. In the age of social media we tend to create Facebook friends and LinkedIn contacts but few if any real relationships with real friends. We often disguise our true identity and hide our real problems so that people will be impressed with who we want to be instead of who we really are on the inside. At Canopy we value authenticity, grace, forgiveness and real relationships. We are a spiritual family of imperfect people with real world problems and challenges who are pursuing together a genuine relationship with Jesus and each other. We worship, study the Bible, serve our community and do life together.

If what I have described above sounds interesting to you, let me suggest some possible next steps to learn more about Canopy and get connected with our church family.
  1. Look through our site, view a message in the streaming media center, browse through our ministries and read more “about us.” Our Sunday services are streamed live every Sunday. The messages are archived and can be viewed at any time.
  2. Join us for one of our Sunday services and meet us face to face. Links to campus location and service times are found on the right side of this page. When you come please come up and introduce yourself. I would love to meet you!
  3. Bring your children to one of our fabulous ministries to preschoolers, children (grades K-4), preteen (grades 5-6) or students (grades 7-12)
  4. Attend one of our adult small groups. We believe that life change happens best in the context of relationships. That’s why small groups are our primary ministry to adults. A couple of groups meet on campus but most of them meet in the homes of our members in Northeast Tallahassee and Havana. You can a view a map and list of groups here on the site. Email any of the leaders from the small groups page to ask questions and let them know you would like to attend. By the way, childcare is FREE, if you need it!
  5. Attend Class 101. This is our membership and information class. It’s a one day class that usually meets on a Sunday after the second service. We discuss the vision of the church and how to get involved. We also provide lunch and childcare.
  6. Test-drive a ministry. We grow when we serve, and we make friends with people who share our interests and passion. Browse our ministries page to see if one interests you.

Thanks again for viewing our site. I hope I have the opportunity to meet you!
